Transition to Product Management

PM Transition Packages

Interested in a career in product management? Not sure how to transition into product from your current industry? Angelina provides four different package options for professionals looking to shift to product management:

  1. [Tier 1] Consultation: provide tips/guidance for how you can leverage your current experience to move into product management. Angelina will recommend roles, companies, and strategies for you to follow. She will also help you identify gaps for your transition.

  2. [Tier 2 Interview Prep - Light: 30 minute consultation and resume review

  3. [Tier 3] Interview Prep - Standard: Tier 2 + mock interview

  4. [Tier 4] Interview Prep - Premium: Tier 3 + additional 1:1 with Angelina

These packages are for professionals with at least 2 years post-grad experience.

Instructor

Angelina is an experienced adjunct professor and workshop instructor. Angelina has experience leading product management workshops for new to career professionals and mid-level professionals. She engages with her audience by using her industry and personal experiences making her workshops engaging and relatable.

Using her educational background and previous work experience, she teaches Introduction to Supply Chain Management and Inventory Planning at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at at the University of Arkansas. She enjoys engaging with students and sharing examples from her industry experience.

Inclusion & Diversity

Angelina is a proven I&D leader and advocate. As the former president of Amazon’s Black Employee Network, Angelina launched key programs internally and externally at Amazon and worked closely with Amazon senior executives. She serves as a key partner in working with leadership on how Amazon can help shift the culture to continue to support Black employees and the community – from participating in senior leadership listening circles to facilitating the Courageous Conversations series in the weeks that followed George Floyd’s murder. She led the team of Black employees who guided the company on where to direct $10M in funding for organizations supporting social justice and racial equity, in addition to the subsequent $17M resulting from a highly successful employee match program.

Angelina launched several programs at Amazon including:

  • BEN Black Excellence Gala - provides $10K+ in scholarships to organizations that are dedicated to STEM education for Black youth.

  • BEN Scholarship - In 2021 Amazon launched the BEN Scholarship to assist high school seniors who plan to pursue a computer science or supply chain-related field of study and career. Recipients receive $5,000 per year for four years for college, plus a connection to industry mentors and peers from Amazon’s Black Employee network.

  • BEN Rise Program - an eight month program that leverages the power of connection, coaching, and informal sponsorship to accelerate the success of future Black leaders at Amazon.

  • ERG Budget & Event Process - established processes to create budgets for small and large events, as well as a process to track spending across the organization.
